TVIFF has evolved from a small grassroots affair to a world class film and music event showcasing and honoring significant artists from all across America and around the globe. This year, the festival will honor Peter Bogdanovich (The Last Picture Show, Paper Moon), Virginia Madsen (Sideways), and Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity) with the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Founder's Award, and Spirit Award respectively (some of the past honorees include Carl Reiner, William Shatner, Ted Danson, Martin Sheen, Isaac Hayes and USC's very own Dean Elizabeth Daley (fight on!).
Located between Los Angeles and San Diego in the gorgeous wine and equestrian community of Temecula, the festival provides extensive media coverage coupled with a wonderfully intimate and relaxing atmosphere. TVIFF is ranked as one of the "Best Kept Secret Film Festivals" in the US by Chris Gore's "Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide."
We can't wait for our screenings (and maybe some wine tasting/hot air ballooning as well) and hope to see you there!
